Instructor needed for short-term course

The Central University of Finance and The Economics & University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Joint Research Data Center (CEDC) looks for a professor/lecturer to teach a short-term course on machine learning in summer 2021. We are also open for long-term collaboration for future related courses.

Requirements:

§  Applicant must have taught the same course.

§  The course starts in May or June and ends in July, 2021

§  Total class hours:18 course-hours (one course-hour is 45 minutes), two lectures per day, two days per week.

§  The course will be taught online.

§  Honorarium will be competitive based on qualifications.

§  Targeted students are upper level undergraduate and graduate students.

The CEDC was established in 2018 by the Central University of Finance and Economics and the University of Electronic Science and Technology. The mission is to support data sharing for public use in research and policy studies. It provides grants for data to be shared in the CEDC platform and supports new data collection projects. Additionally, CEDC hosts an annual conference on data science. The members of CEDC consist of affiliated faculty members, research fellows, staff members and graduate students.
